Default PSU Advice...

I'm after a new PSU and the problem is I have got the older ATX v.1 board (Asus k8v). Will an ATX V.2 PSU work with it if I have a 20 pin adapter? Also, as I am going to Canada, will they work with the 115 volt over there or must it have the 115/240 v switch at the back?
I was looking at either the Enermax Noisetaker range of the Thermaltake TR2.

Most good brands have a 24 pin connector with a 4 pin 'breakaway' part, so compatablity is not a problem.
