Default Athlon FX CPU's

I've just brought myself a 939 pin motherboard off ebay, and I'm now looking for a CPU to use with it. Can someone remind me which of the Athlon 64 "FX" chips will work in a 939 socket? I've seen some of the older ones on ebay saying they're a 940 pin - will these work or does it have to be 939 pin only?

Thanks.

Not much point in buying anything less than an FX-60 if you have the cash, as a dual core 4800+ is a better bet than an FX-57

Also the FX62 and X2 5000+ are due out on 939 soon.

Thanks for the replys. I got the motherboard so I could go dual-core, but I thought I'd see if I could maybe get a bargain FX53 or something off ebay.

Conroe does look good for sure, will be interesting to see some results post it's release.

If AMD pull off the dual/quad core CPU acting as a virtual single core, expect Intel to fall behind again... but this is pipe dreams at the moment....

Good to see Intel are getting their act together. But how much more money will it cost over the AMD Equivelant? That was one of AMD's strong points.
