Thumbs up

Just been reading up on CPU Pricing and forthcoming prices drops. AMD already have the 1Ghz Athlon under the £100 barrier for trade buyers. In response, Intel are going to start slapping prices around.

At the end of April, the P4 1.5Ghz will drop by 51%!! However, that's still around 260 quid, so the Athlon 1GHz and faster will still be fantastic value.

If you are in the market for a new PC or upgrading at the moment, keep 'em peeled! SystemMax already have a 1.3Ghz Athlon for £849 + VAT.

I can remember paying £540 for 16Mb. When I also ordered 2 500Mb drives the guy thought I was mad. "You'll never fill em"....
