Sounds good, especially the boot to dashboard thingy. Was really frustrating when you wanted a quick live arcade blast and there was a game in the drive

All I need now is a working xbox to download the update onto, (my 2nd replacement console is currently at the xbox repair center)...

Seems to be a reliability issue with these consoles, I personally know 3 people who have had to send their consoles back so far. one after 5 weeks

Can i ask how long Microsoft have your console when you send it back? got a feeling mine is about to die. Or is it a case of how long is a piece of string

Both my previous ones took about a week.

My brothers went wrong 2 days after he got it, and a chap at work found his didn't work when he got it home. Almost everyone that I personally know has had to have theirs replaced at least once now...

cheers for that, it never cold boots anymore and never signs in to xboxlive on first attempt....among other things. Still glad i got it though, great games and spec

mate had to wait a fortnight to get his,not to happy as he lost all his saves as well, seem to be lucky when it comes to consoles. i still have all my old consoles from c64 upto ps1 all in working condition

That happened to me (twice). I did get up to level 17 on Oblivion, but now I've got to start all over again (for the third time)...

I've never had problems with any consoles before this one. I've still got (and use) most of them...
