Changing memory cards on PSP...
Finally I have got round to getting a 2gb card. Is it simple to transfer games saves etc from the original card to the new one? Is there anything that needs to be done to the new card? Or do I just take a copy of the contents of the existing card including memstick.ind on the root and copy it to the new one?
TIA

Oh the downgrading process... Yes I had to do that when I bought my PSP with version 2.0 firmware on it. Ran the downgrade and it came up with an error after 99% completed. Luckily it was part of the process and the PSP booted back up and restated it's version 1.5 firmware.

The biggest worry more then the process of downgrading it is getting the correct files to do it and not some fake ones which are out on the web to deliberately kill your psp. Say I downgrade it to 1.5 but want to play GTA on it is there a file which makes the PSP think its running 2.0 so GTA will run? I haven't got any games that require anything more than 2.0. If I can set it up so can have 1.5 and still play GTA then I want to do it as never use it for browsing the web so losing that functionality is no big deal for me.
