Default Epson R300 ink - best compatibles to use?

I've had good results with Ridisk ink but am struggling to get Sumvision carts recognised by the printer.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

The best ones are the print-rite carts. Not one failure in hundreds of sets.

The Ridisc and Printrite brands source their inks from the same factories in the far east (ninestar), good quality pigmented ink.

Ridisc is no longer available in the UK and printrite availability will dry up shortly due to recent litigations (as far as i'm aware).

FunkyT, did you buy your Sumvision ink from us? Drop me a line if you did and i'll sort out replacement carts for the ones you're having problems with.
There was a brief QC issue on one of our shipments earlier this year whereby the chip on the cart (blacks in particular) was partially obscured by what could only be described as 'a dod of glue' causing compatibility issues but we withddrew this batch from sale once we realised and you may have been one of the unlucky few that caught a couple of bad carts.

Hi Scooby Dooby Blue, yes the carts were purchased from Disk Depot in late Feb 06. I've raised an RMA "Your Ticket Number is: 190" - if you could look into it that would be great.

Many thanks,

Rich
