Default PSP & Internet - what do I need?

Fancy using my PSP for internet. What equipment do I need to do this?

Is it just a case of wireless broadband router and away to go?

One home PC is connected, the one in the loft isnt so was going to get some wireless thing anyway just wanted to make sure the PSP would work on it too.

Ta.

Just don't expect the PSP to be quick at browsing. Also worth having your PSP at firmware version 2.5 or 2.6. As it appears newer features have now been incorporated.

Version 1.5 does not have wi-fi enabled you`d have to upgrade to at least v2.0 for that, If you already have v2.0 think before you upgrade any higher.

Currently have 2 PSPs because of that.

Have noticed that between version 2.0 and 2.6 that more features have now been added. For instance RSS feeds, and the ability to now play WMA as well as MP3. And when you go into the options of the web browser you can now view sites that use Java.

Mines on 2.6.

Although it would have been handy, I'm not bothered about it not running "special" games that only work on 1.5.

I can convert some of my **** collection to MP4 and watch it in bed on my PSP with the misses so thats me happy. Only thing I could think of to fill up my memory card when I got it. Didn't buy a game for it for 2 weeks

Just nice if I could browse the net with it too.

Had a go with surfing on mine. Don't expect miracles. A lot of the sites I went on caused the PSP to run out of memory . Okay for googling though.
