Secondly how do I use my phone as a modem for my PC, my 6630 connection automatically but this one just looks at me smiling like the retards that work for orange

You can take it to an Official Nokia centre and they will flash it with the original Nokia firmware, or you can send it Here

Must get round to doing mine at some point....

As Mogsi says that place can reflash it. When I asked a couple of weeks back they still can't unlock them. They did a SE W550i and returned it without any problems so I can recommend them.

Andy.

btw - it *is* the RM-84 isn't it, and not the RM-99?

(press *#0000#)

I've currently got firmware v5.0609.2.0.1, but I've not tried it yet.

I've got v3.0546.2.3 currently running on mine at the moment.

I need to know if tomtom's more stable on 5.n than my vodaphone 2.0539 RM-84 , so if you wouldn't mind running it for a few days

Cheers

Or instead of spending £150 on the kit just send them your phone and they'll do it for £20....
