On Ebay they claim the Jap PSP's have a better sharper screen than the UK ones. Is this claim true or utter rubbish?

I thought one was made by Sharp and the other by Samsung so maybe not identical?

The screen on my Jap PSP is superb with no defects/dead pixels. I'm sure the UK ones are just as good.

^^ Jap PSPs use Sharp screens as opposed to Samsung screens for everyone else... Rumour has it that the Sharp screen produces a slightly 'sharper' picture, although it would take a real keen eye to notice the difference...

id personally go with jap,as they play all region (PAL/NTSC)
not got a clue about the screens though.

The jap ones are supposed to be better but side by side I cannot tell any difference - but the jap one is supposed to have less drag during fast game play if this makes sense.

I've compared them both (side by side), and I really could no see any difference between them, even with fast moving graphics.

I suspect that people who say they can see a difference are just trying to justify the inflated price they payed for their import

I also cannot tell the difference between this and a UK model screen.
