PSP games fom USA
i`m off on holiday to the states this week. If i buy a psp game out there will it work on a UK psp????

From what I last heard the UMD Movies are only region coded so it won't play on a UK (Region 2) PSP. The games should work without any problems.

Yes the Games work fine as there multi region but the UMD movies are a
dont forget games are also subject to firmware so dont go updating to far

blah, i rushed out and got out run and had to update to 2.6 to play it
ahh well i wasnt about to go and take that bad boy back

I think I've updated to 2.5 and i got an american copy of Metal Gear Acid of ebay that still works ok.

no the imported games will work regardless of which version of the firmware you have. The only difference is that you can run homebrew apps after v2.0

My local Game stores won't let me trade in non-UK games, but they should work on your machine no matter where they are bought from.
