have seen it mentioned before about just fitting the hard disk into the new computer to save having to transfer pretty much the whole computer over, old comp still works but only has a floppy drive also... is this the easiest option???? should i get someone to swap the unit over or do myself if so....

Should be the easiest way, just make sure the jumper on the back of the old '95 harddrive is set to cs (cable select) to make life easier.
