Epson Stylus C82-Not printing very well.
Can anyone help on this one ?
I have an Epson C82 printer connected to an AppleMac running OSX.
The printer has recently started to leave even spaced lines running across any pictures that are printed out. I have carried out all the usual self cleaning procedures but to no avail.
Any further suggestions ?
Thanks
Brian

Epson printers suffer from this as the print heads dry out and clog up. I;ve binned two printers in 3 years due to this.
Try cleaning the heads a few times using the sw utility and if that fails you may want to buy some cleaning cartidges. I found buying a new printer was cheaper and got a C86 which had worse print qua;lity and was even worse for the print heads drying out.
Best thing with the Epsons is to make sure they get regular use

Thanks for the help. Didn't know that such things as cleaning cartridges were even available ! See there are lots on e-bay. My local computer shop didn't have any but said that the heads could be cleaned with a steamer !!!!! but not to get things too hot ! Might give that a very careful and delicate go first.
Thanks
