Does anyone on here use Openoffice? How does it compare to MS Office? Can it use MS Office file formats, or exchange files with MS Office?

I use open office on my desktop, Does everything I need to do , opens M$ office files and saves them in that format aswell. Smaller footprint on the hard drive. I`m not sure if it does any of the more advanced office features, but as I don`t use them. I don`t care, and the bonus is it`s free.

It's good but doesn't support Excel macros which is a big thing for me as I have loads.
