Default PS3 delayed

Info here.

Cue lots of 360 owners saying 'told you so'

I'm still gonna wait for one though. Release around xmas would be good for me, as I can get the other half to get me it then instead of buying it myself.

In the meantime, I'll wait

Hey well it means that because of the delay between the two more people will buy both! Be interesting to see what happens with the battle on the DVD front between blu-ray and HD DVD also, guess it depends what standard the US porno industry settles on, thats what decided the VHS/Betamax wars!

PMSL @ Neanderthal You're right though, particularly with the Blu-ray uncertainty.

On a similar note, LG are allegedly producing a Blu-ray & HD-DVD dual format drive..... Maybe Sony should just bung one of them in and be done with it.

Wonder if the PS3 will be the new Duke Nukem Forever

Hello

I still go and check the website occasionally to see if they will ever release this! I really liked Duke Nukem 3d ...

PMSL @ Swen6 I learnt my lesson dabbling in shares a long time ago when the computer bubble burst, so I steer well clear of my share dealing account now

I'll just stay the pauper that I am whilst your Microsoft shares rocket

Sony have seen the reality of the 360 and don't see it as a real threat. 360 is nice but a waste of space at the moment, with no decent games on the horizon (for me anyway)

There are better games (Shadow of the Colussus, Black, TOCA 3 etc) in terms of playability still being released for the PS2 and Xbox.

There are loads of great games on the horizon for the 360, a load of which are coming out this month.

I didn't like Shadow of the Colossus at all, and Black is just a simplified no brainer shooter which I got bored with in about an hour. Toca 3 is ok, but the driving model is not good, and it has dodgy ai, and the "realistic" track layout of some of the circuits is just plain wrong.

Since getting the 360, my ps2 (and old xbox) have been rapidly gathering dust.

Since not getting a 360 my PS2 has been getting stacks of use Sorry, just in one of those moods

I have recently finished FFX-2, Jak 3 and Ratchet and Clank 3 on the PS2 though which in total ate up about 120 hours of my life Mental note, must get out more.....

Last game I played on the XBox was Call of Cthulhu Dark Corners of the Earth which was absolutely superb. An excellent example of an atmospheric game that was a break from a lot of the drivel that's churned out (on any platform).

Must admit that the videos (of gameplay) for The Outfit look good. Reminds me of a 3D version of the old arcade game Cabal
