More P1 delays.....
#1
I've just been speaking to my local dealer, and he tells me that Subaru have just informed them that the remaining 300 or so P1s still to be delivered will likely be delayed.
This is because Subaru UK cannot get hold of the upper half of the rear spoiler in sufficient quantities.
Apparently, the delays will push delivery of the cars back to the end of September.
The dealer also said that he was being given the opportunity to cancel orders for undelivered P1s, with no penalty. Sounds to me like Subaru UK no longer believe they can sell all 1000 cars, even if they could get the bits to make them.
On a different note, I was recently in the West Midlands visiting a friend, and of six dealers I spoke to, three were running P1 demonstators. Doesn't sound like the cars are exactly selling themselves.
If anyone has any further information on these delays, I'd really appreciate hearing it.

The dealer was Mill Lane in Basingstoke.
They are not going to be the supplying dealer, but I was talking to them about servicing the car, and whether they would have a problem with me having a Scoobysport backbox fitted.

I have spoken to IMG and they tell me that they will be allocating the next lot of P1s in the next 7 to 14 days. It will then take upto two weeks for you to get your cars (and mine).
