Question

The interior light on my MY96 doesn't have a delay to keep it on for a few seconds after the door is closed. Has anybody fitted one? Does the type for vehicles with earthing door switches work on the Impreza? Do later models have a delay? Any help appreciated!

Later models don't have one either. I've bought a Maplin timer delay kit, which should do the job and could also be used for an intermittent rear wiper (which Scoobs also don't have). I haven't fitted it yet, but from what I can see should work fine. I'll let you know.

I bought a delay switch from Charlie Browns in 1996,it cost about £3 I think. It's now on my 99 WRX STI works fine easy to fit. Also fitted adjustable timer delay to rear wiper )maplins),bit fiddly but worth it.

Any chance of a blow by blow account of the fitting of these time delays.

Fiasco.
