Default XBox 360 Games bought Abroad

Enjoying the Xbox 360, but im going to Asia in the next month and wanted to know if i purchase an authorised copy in their gaming shops , would it work on my UK machine?

Anyone advise?

Cheers having a good read as the 2nd site has a very long confusing thread debating game types on PAL / NTSC / NTSC-J

Hopefully Thailand issued games will play on a UK machine if its on the list..

This site in Canada list the Region Free games in a seperate section, theres an GBP convertor and games are about £35

Call of Duty 2
Quake 4 - 360

Any recomemdations as I'm not really a gamer ... yet

Depends what sort you like. I've got DOA 4 which is good. Geo wars from the live arcade is also a good purchase.

Didnt really like perfect dark.

There should be some good titles coming up in March.

Ghost recon advanced warfighter- *should be top of your list*
fight night 3 - should be a laugh with mates and online
top spin 2 - another good live game
