Just bought a Panasonic TX26LXD52 Lcd tv for use with my 360, im connecting them with the official component cable and i can select 720 or 1080 on the 360 , which one should i be using? pgr3 says 720 on the back of the box as does perfect dark zero, but my other games like doa4, condemed, amped 3, nfsmw say 1080.
Im not really sure what this means and what should i be using for the best picture possible ?

I just use 1080 all the time on my plasma, i just figures the unit would change to suit the game its displaying anyway

The maximum resolution of your TV screen is 1366x768, therefore I'd use the 720 setting on the Xbox as this will give you 1024x720 output. The higher 1080 is interlaced and is 1920x1080 so most of that extra res will be lost on your TV.

I use 720, Cant tell much difference but I would say it has the edge.

i use the 1080dpi but then mine is going thru a good sony projector and the picture looks excellent on an 8ft screen
