hp nc4000 laptop just been given one cant get wireless?
just got a fantastic little laptop got bluetooth and wifi but cant get the wifi to work?
if i run cursor over the logo at bottom of screen it says wireless network disabled?
ive seen a button on the laptop tries pressing that and nothing?

Right click on the system tray wireless logo and click "enable radio"
Also go into Start > Settings > Control Panel > Network Connections and make sure the Wireless connection is enabled in there.

i cant i opened the slot at the back were aparantly the mini pci card should be and its not fooking there pmsl
no wonder bluetooth and wifi isnt working
need to buy the part now

when WIFI comes on the little blue light on the front left side of the laptop comes on (its seriously bright, you cant miss it).
I think the official mini-pci cards from HP are about £80 and just slot in and plug in to the cables in the mini-pci slot.
Alternatively you could just buy a USB wireless adapter and use that instead, about £30 gets you one of those.

actually just found a mini pci card on ebay for hp pooters 19 quid plus 3 quid postage!!!
so now all i think ineed is the bluetooth card, but may get a bluetooth sd card as i think i read somewere they do them, ideally i wanted the laptop proper though so may try find the right bluetooth card, think gotta take laptop to pieces to fit that though?
