Default ISO DVD Player

Can anyone recomend me a software DVD player that will play ISOs?
I don't want divx or rippers or strippers or shrinkers, just an iso player. (not zoomplayer).

Hooking a PC up to a TV and don't want to have a dvd drive whirring away while watching.

And for the record, have never downloaded a movie iso nor am I likely to, just for playing my own collection.

Have you tried daemon tools? You can set-up virtual DVD ROM players, and then mount an .iso image. Then your software DVD player will play it.
You can get it here for free:

Looks interesting, will give it a bash, thx.

The third page of reviews is a bit scary tho but would you trust the review of a bloke who says it wrecked his machine but he still gave it 5 stars..???

Well put it this way. I have it installed on both my PCs and havn't had any issues. Comes in very handy when you don't want to be leaving Dics in your one and only DVD-RW drive.

Just to resurrect this, I've been using this app for a few weeks now and it's great!

Thx.

Told you so!

And the other best thing is that you set-up as many ghost DVD players, so you can have your own mini Jukebox of ISO files to play from.
