Which would you choose both are new unused and both resonably priced !!
Original ps2 or slimline ps2 ?

Reason being ?

Slimline, because its smaller and much quieter.

You can leave the original PS2 on forever without it overheating because of the fan... but with the slimline you have to be careful or it will overheat.

Original has a sliding disc tray so you can have it on a shelf/on it's side...

Slimline has a lifting lid so if it's going on a shelf/cramped area then take this into consideration. Slimline Pro: It has the RJ45 connector as standard.

Original Pro: You can slot a hard disk into it internally when you buy the ethernet adapter that gives you the RJ45 connection

Speeds up load times no end if you dump your games onto the hard disk (and yes mine are originals and no my PS2 is not chipped!!! )

haven't seen any PS2s for under £60, so I got a new slimline from Amazon for £90ish.
The earlier originals won't play GT4, though Sony don't seem to acknowledge it

my ps2 is the 1 of the very first and it plays gt4 just fine
