Sony PSP
Got one of these a few months ago and still totally bewildered with how much better one of these little things are compared to the nintendo DS and other handhelds...
Like golddust at the moment as well so ive heard...
Anyone got one what do you think? I havent used it online yet or the wireless functionality, anyone know how good that part of this thing is?
Pro Evo 5 out soon, i hope santa puts it in my stocking come 25th Dec
been told i cant buy it as soon as it comes out so i am assuming he has my request

PSP ................ whats the point??
Only any good if you need a games machine on the move, which most of us do NOT need!
As a DVD its completely pointless - who the hell wants to watch a film on a 5" screen?? ........... portable DVD players are £80 now and have 8" screens!! MUCH better!! and they play NORMAL CHEAP DVDs!!
As a MP3 its ok I suppose, but too big ...... AND needs earphones AND a £99 1Gb Memory Card .... so, useless in that department!!
As a photo holder .. pretty good, pass it around to granny and let them fall to sleep looking through your photos!!
As a games machine?? Well, yes, OK. But games are £35 each
Best bet, IMO? :-
Buy a new PS2 Slimline and a 8" LCD Screen for it (cost = £195) ........ pretty portable and blows the socks off a PSP!! Its a DVD AND a Games machine AND plays MP3s!!
Better still the 700Mb MP3 disc costs 10p (yes, 10 pence!!)
The DVDs are in your collection anyway, or only cost £11.
The games are £5 secondhand ... but, you will have many anyway!!
The PSP just doesn't add up!!

I'm not unfortunately but one bloke at work has got one (but has totally different taste in games to me) and another two are considering getting one just for Pro Evo to have a league going. I think having played this today and showing them Monday they may well be convinced to get one, they are as footy mad as I am.

An unchanged 1.6Ghia Cabriolet, Ford only made 267 of them (I think that was the number) .............. clearly mine was probably the only one that was just as it came from the factory! Later, after he had it, he e-mailed me over the moon .... apparently it was worth three times what he paid me!!
Your clapped out banger, on the otherhand, is now probably in the scrappies!
