I hope this hasn't been done to death...

Can you stream Sky+ to a p.c.?

As far as I know the only way would be to have a video capture card in the PC and record it as you would anyother video source. Be nice to know different but the files on Sky+ are, I believe, still the encrypted sat feed so you would have to break that first.

I did a search after I posted this and apparently you can stream via a scart lead onto a DVD recorder used with the TV... apparently.

What are you trying to achieve, are you going to put DVD from recorder in to PC and use some software to get it into the computer?

why not use a media centre pc gizmo

Sky+ allows 2 recordings to be made at once as well as supporting Dolby Digital, neither of which MCE can do with a bog standard Sky box
