Default Strange outlook express problem

I got into the 21st century the other day and got broadband but I'm having a strange problem with outlook express I can receive emails whilst logged onto the net using my broadband but I can't send emails If I go back to dial-up they send.

Any ideas please?

Thanks

Are you using the same ISP for both broadband and dialup? If not, you'll only be able to send mail from the account on the ISP that you are connected to.

To slightly expand that last answer...

Suppose you are signed up with (say) Internet.com as your ISP, but you are using Mail.com as your e-mail service. When you set up your e-mail account(s) on OE, you must set the outgoing mail server as that of Internet.com, but your incoming mail server as that of Mail.com.
