Printing Photos
I'm trying to get to grips with printing out Colour Photos (on an Epsom R200). I can print colour images to A4 (ordinary paper) without any problem, but if I drop down to 6-by-4 on photopaper (having told the printer there's photopaper there) the result is impossibly dark. I can't cure it (sufficiently) by increasing brightness and reducing contrast. Any ideas, please?
TIA

have you bought the photopaper from epson?
I know that with epson printers you need to use their paper for this type of thing and you cant buy cheaper alternatives due to the way their ink drys.

FitzScoob: Yes, Epson Paper in use.
Lightning101: "ICM" = what?? Do I make the change through the Epson Printer dialogue available through the XP Photprinting Wizard? Or should I switch to the Epson "Photoquicker" software?
TIA

Yes in the printer dialogue - go to advanced settings and select ICM profile.
This worked when I bought some reallt expensive photo paper a while back for my old R200.
I have changed to a proper photo printer now though - Canon ip8500.
