Quickest way to get into the DOS screen??

Talking Quickest way to get into the DOS screen??

Wanting to ping a printer, can't remember how to get into DOS

Besides, it's bin a while since i've asked a daft question

or just start ->Run -> "ping (ip address)"

Actually you do see the results whilst it is pinging using that command. It just closes the window again once it has finished

Start - Accessories - CMD Prompt....

saves you typing anything at all that way

Press and hold the Windows Key and then press the R key, then type cmd. This is the quickest way to get a a command prompt.

Only if you've remapped windows-R, mine just brings up the run dialog.

if you have the address bar inside ur task bar, just type in cmd and press enter. the next time just click on the text box and press enter
