SD Wifi....
Hi,
I have just bought a SPV M1000, basically Oranges version of the XDA ll. I have done some research (www.totalpda.com) about SD cards with Wifi and have found mixed reviews.
Scan disk have stopped selling the combo wifi with 256mb. I also fancy a flush fitting card.
Has anyone here had any experiance of these cards? Are they any good? My uni has hotspts and I do not fancy taking a laptop around the Underground!
Thanks in advance.

I bought the Sandisk one with the 256Mb built in.......
Bought it for my PDA from Lidl (the Myguide Navigator Pocket PC)
Works a treat !!
Thought I could have everything on one card..... i.e. SatNav maps and a few other things.... and if I wanted to download anything I wouldn't be limited....
Got mine off ebay for £62 delivered.......
I can tell you one thing.......... They can go through the washing machine (twice) and survive !!!!
they are only 8011b though.....
But still produce a good reception.........
Always good if travelling around..... will tell you when it picks up a new signal

I've got a Sandisk one without the flash ram. It works fine at home - Linksys router, but doesn't work at work with a Netgear router. Check this out before buying.
Otherwise thumbs up - totally Ronseal

What i've found if I want to connect to another network other than my own, is that I have to delete my connection......
It then tells me the networks available and I can connect.......
Haven't mastered how to use ALL aspects of it.......... there maybe other ways (i'm sure there is)
Would like to know how to connect direct to my PC......... haven't suused this either..
