ipod experts HELP!!
I have bought a 2nd hand U2 ipod (non-color) and I cant seem to change the name of the ipod from for eg "Dave's ipod" to "Palatines ipod" on the pc.
Apparently its easy on a Mac but cant do it on a PC

no cos it only appears on the pc when you set it to "Enable disk use". and then it's name is "Removable Disk(F
" and the files in that can be opened are Calenders, Contacts and Notes

As far as I remember once you've install itunes and "mounted the drive" it will appear in the left handside of itunes. Right click on the ipod and it gives you the option to change the name.

the ipod pops up on teh left hand side of itunes but I can't edit the name. All I get when I right click is an option box saying ,options, eject and update(Daves ipod). non of these lead to a screen that allows me to change the name of the ipod
