RAS Clients not appearing in DNS

RAS Clients not appearing in DNS
We have remote users (all running windows XP) when they dial into our RAS server it gives them an IP address via the DHCP server. But none of the clients then appear in DNS so we have no way of connecting to them via the likes of Computer Management.
Any ideas why they are not appearing in DNS. They connect via direct dial and VPN.

According to THIS technet article "By default, the DNS client on Windows XP does not attempt dynamic update over a Remote Access Service (RAS) or virtual private network (VPN) connection. To modify this configuration, you can modify the advanced TCP/IP settings of the particular network connection or modify the registry."
Also, is your dhcp server configured to update dns for clients?
Does the dns zone security permit updates from these clients?
