Exchange server has stopped collecting mail
We have Exchange 2003, it POP collects from a catchall account.
The server can get on the internet, it views webpages that are not cached.
I've changed the mail server address to use the IP address and it still doesn't work..
I can log into the catchall account via webmail and see the mail waiting.
Nobody really has access to or has any desire to change anything on the server, it has literally just stopped working.
Anyone got any ideas? Things to try?
Thanks,
Rich

I assume you have tried a good old tactical reboot? Anything in event log?
I have never run an exchange server in this way but are you using a 3rd party Exchange Connector to perform the collection?

sorry, turns out it was a corrupt mail in the mailbox...
(Did try the reboot though, yes)
On another note, if I send to test@domain.co.uk it ends up in the catch all account at the ISP, the exchange server picks it up, it seems to bounce them but I dont know why, I want the Admin account to be the catchall.
On the server, under server management, in the POP connector manager, under the troubleshooting the exchange mailbox where undeliverable mail is sent is set to administrator .
How do I ensure the administrator catches everything.
