Default Will this work?

Looking at buying these parts -

Abit AA8-Duramax SKT775 DDR2 PCI-E 7.1audio gigabit lan
http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=93141
Corsair 1GB DDR2 533 Mhz 128mx64 Non-ecc 240 Dimm Unbuffered Cl4
http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=63631
Intel Pentium 4 640 3.2Ghz Socket 775 800mhz 2mb Retail Boxed
http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=87128

Am I right in thinking they should all work together ok? Been bit out of touch with the Hardware side of things for a while, seems to be so many different models/speeds of things now, so would appreciate it if someone could put my mind at rest before I depart with my £'s.

Thanks

Ahh.. I am now enlightened.

Well going from this site: http://www2.abit.com.tw/page/uk/moth...&fMTYPE=LGA775

About your Motherboard spec. I would say yes the components you want to buy will connect together without any problems.

Thanks for taking the time to look.

I think it is recommended to update the BIOS to the latest one to run the processor properly as it's a 64bit processor I do believe?

Thanks again.

stiscooby - have you considered ASUS, DFI or MSI re motherboards?

Personally I've had nothing but trouble with Abit boards.

if you go to komplett, they list the compatible items for each thing you're buying. So whether you buy off them or not, you'll know what works with what
