Default ZoneAlarm

Tried to update my version of ZoneAlarm, just the standard free download version and I keep getting this error.

TrueVector Service has encountered a problem and needs to close, in one of those Send Error Report to Microsoft thingies.

Just won't work at all, can't even go back to an older version.

Can anyone help?

Why would you say that? I've also used it for years and never had any problems with it. It's much better than the XP version thats for sure.

I think ZoneAlarm is excellent - it hasn't give me a single problem. I use Zone Alarm Pro.

I had a similar error after my 30 day "pro" trial had ended. It didn't run automatically for a few days, so i activated it manually and it said that my trial had ended - purchase or revert to bog standard.

After various wailing and nashing of teeth i had a similar "send to Bill" error - but not since (touch wood).

Must admit that i find Zonealarm over complex and difficult to use. I am currently trying Kerio, which seems soooo much neater and intuitive
