Default Wireless Routers

I've got a wireless router connected to my ADSL modem. I need a new ADSL modem, if I get a combined modem and wireless router is it possible to use my original wireless router to expand the wireless footprint in the house ?

Obviously they will still be using in the same ADSL connection so I guess the question is can a wireless router connect to a wireless router , wirelessly

Cheers
Cammy

im 99% sure this is only possible if the router supports WDS (Wireless Distribution System), what routers do you have, not many routers do at the moment
