Outlook 2003 - Quick Question
Is there a way to make global changes to folder views in Outlook 2003?
By way of an example, if I disable the viewing pane while i'm looking at my inbox it only effects the inbox - not any archive folders, the outbox, or sent items. Assuming I want to disable the reading pane for every folder, is there a quicker way than going through the folders one by one and customizing the view?
I hope this make sense - I'd like to disable the viewing pane, and groupings but switch on auto preview for unread items... it could take me some time given the number of folders I have

I know what you mean. Is this a stand-alone client or one with a Exchange/Active Directory backend?
Haven't seen anything myself, but I would imagine it would be done through a Global Policy Object (GPO).

A solution for either would be nice to be honest - I run Outlook 2003 at home, and in the office and it annoys the hell out of me on both!
No AD at work yet so a GPO isn't an option for now

This doesn't look promising - http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/as...426951033.aspx (read the Note)
The reading pane gets right on my t!ts.
