Yep sure is one of those mini systems that you need to add a monitor, keyboard, hard drive and processor to. Cheap PC if you dont need much in the way of processing requirements say as a media player or something.

prob £100 would get you a decent size hard drive and processor, second hand monitor if you're on a tight budget for say £50 or less and your away. Then perhaps acquire a copy of win2k or 98 off ebay.

You are going to need an AMD cpu. Either Athlon XP or Duron. The best to go for would be the AMD Athlon XP Barton 3200. This is the fastest 32bit Athlon processor. After that, you get into 64 bit teritory which this machine does not support. The Barton will probably set you back about £150 inc Fan depending on where you shop. Good place to go is www.overclockers.co.uk They have normally been the cheapest for me.

Depending on what you want to use it for, you can normally piuck up a 80gb HDD for about £60, again depending on where you shop. I have seen auctions on Ebay for 120gb HDD going for £90.

Installing xp is a doddle. Just make sure you have an hour or two spare and someone to check on you for signs of life periodically.

An XP 3200 won't work in this machine as the FSB is only 333Mhz.
