Windows Integrated Authentication - XP Users get error.

Default Windows Integrated Authentication - XP Users get error.
Hi Guys.

I'm using Windows Integrated Authentication on a 2000 server running IIS 5.

Since this morning XP clients have been unable to authenticate. Win 98 is fine and gets past the login screen to the web site, but XP users get HTTP 500 Internal Server Error.

Any ideas anyone

Have the XP users been upgraded to Service Pack 2 as of late? Could be the Firewall software on the XP PCs causing this. We had this problem at work and ended up disabling the firewall software.

No - been running SP2 for ages.

If I restart the web server, everything is fine for a couple of ours then exactly the same.
