A friend of mine is trying to get a new game website off the ground, he is getting some good backing from the major games companies regarding competition prizes and news releases all he needs now is more members
Any help would be appreciated (mods, its a non profit website) cheers.

Best of luck to him. A couple of comments...

• The site seems VERY slow. Might just be the traffic generated from your scoobynet post, but it will stop people from using the site (first impressions and all that stuff).
• There are already numerous non-profit sites of this nature on the web, most with insider / industry access. For the site to succeed you need to find some sort of unique gimmick which will attract visitors. If it's just a clone of existing sites then people will not visit. There's a lot of competition out there...
