Transferring DHCP From win2k server to win2003 server?
Basically we have a dhcp server running on win2k, and I now want this to be running on win2003.
I presume I will need to resetup all the config on the 2003 scope etc, but I would like to import the already assigned ip addresses. Can this be done? is it as simple as just copying the folder/database where the dhcp info is kept to the new server?
any technet kb's on how to do this? where the folder/db is located?

From: Leeds - It was 562.4bhp@28psi on Optimax, How much closer to 600 with race fuel and a bigger turbo?
I used dhcpexim worked fine for me.
You could upgrade the server then backup the scope then restore to a box... but I wouldnt risk 2k dhcp to 2k3 by just copying the files.

Just found this article here for ref "How to move a DHCP database from a computer that is running Windows NT Server 4.0, Windows 2000, or Windows Server 2003 to a computer that is running Windows Server 2003" : http://support.microsoft.com/?id=325473
