Question Catalyst 5.6 Drivers

Any1 having any issues with the latest Radeon ATi drivers?

I got my first bsod in XP last night, when the PC was idling, and only thing I've changed recently is going from V5.2 to V5.6 of the catalysts.

Yeh mine is a 9800XT, I think I might take a step back to 5.5 or use Omega. It's strange as I've been running the 5.6's for a couple of weeks, and only last night did it BSOD. Unless there was a power spike with the storms last night, that may of caused it.

No probs on my 9800XT so far. Play quite a few games as well.
Also put on the couple of fixes from Microsoft to use DX9 on MS Media Player as per the links on the ATi site.

Looks like it was the storms. Mates in my village didnt have bsods but did have powerdowns even thou there was no powercut, well a noticeable powercut.

Time to buy a surge protector I guess... I have them fitted to all my comp equipment... and TV / surround sound setup. I live at the end of the mains feed so the power is always a bit flaky.
