MSI BToes & SP2 (XP) - can anybody help??
Hi,
Had a PC crash, so re-installed XP, but went up to SP2 from SP1.
Now my MSI BToes Bluetooth dongle doesn't work
I've tried the MSI website, but TBH, I find it TOTALLY useless - a kind of "bury our heads in the sand" approach to support "It should work"!!!!!
Can anybody help?
My other option is to buy another Bluetooth dongle, which I don't really want to do
And just as I was getting somewhere with my PDA & Internet (the reason for getting Bluetooth was to use my PDA to surf wireless whilst away from the TV - I've got it working in the USB cradle though!!! )
Back to the topic though - has ANYBODY sorted this?
Cheers,
Dan

I've got an MSI BToes dongle on XP SP2 using the Widcomm (sp?) drivers. All works a treat for sycn'ing my 6310 with Outlook.
Where are you getting stuck if BuRR's suggestion doesn't help?

Hmm - downloaded this driver before, but cannot seem to install it. I've tried right-clicking on the inf file. But it still leaves me with the RFCOMM protocol, not the new one (as can be seen in the attached piccy, along with a nice "!" mark )
I'm guessing that I need to override XPs driver - but how?
edited to add that if I do a add hardware & "have disk", it says that "the specified location does not contain information about your hardware".......
