Default Solaris query

Chaps,

Anyone know how to initiate a forced scsi take over (possibly not the correct phrase) of a disk (in reserved state) manually, ie via what command in Solaris.

This is something Sun Cluster does, but I'm talking vanilla o/s?

Reason being, a system is refusing to take control of some disks assigned from the SAN, as it thinks another system has them reserved.

Cheers, Alex

PS. hope that make senses - bit earlier for me.

What type of scsi reserve?

scsi 2 reserves can only be removed from the host holding the reservation or by power cycle, scsi reset etc. SCSI 3 just need to send a few ioctls but this would require the solaris box to have access to the storage.
