Default IE Shutting Pipex DSL Down?

Connect to PIPEX as per norm and network connection icon goes to system tray as normally saying connected at 576k.

As soon as I open an IE window the network connection icon just disappears without any error message and kills the connection.

Anyone had this problem or any idea what is causing it?

Cheers,
Simon.

By the way this is only the first time. Once I reconnect the DSL connection I can open IE and it works fine for hours.

Simon.

Have you checked the connection settings in IE? Just in case its attempting to connect to another ISP.

So what your saying is that it doesn't even have the PIPEX conenction listed? If so that maybe the problem.
