Question Broardband music downloads?

I have just got BB today, and I'm impressed with the speed - loading up pages or downloading xMB files, but when I try to download music from WinMX, it's just as slow as dial up used to be, is there something I need to do, or does BB make no difference to music downloads??!

I think with winmx it depends on how popular the music is, and how many people are sharing it.

I have downloaded music on it, and some songs take ages, some are really quick, i have ntl BB (think they upped it to 3meg).

Check the files when you search for them, on the right hand side it says things about how many slots are available, generally if the song you want isnt represented in a green colour its not worth the hassle to download it.

(see what i mean) ?

Yes you are right, winmx, speed seems to depend on popularity, thanks :-)

dont forget it depends on the persons connection as well as your own on winmx, if they have 54k and you have t4 it cn still be slow as hell. the thing to do with winmx is once you have it downloading right click it and search for alternatives, people rename their files as something else this worms them out and adds it to your download, its much quicker once your dl from numerous sources.

Try shareaza.com, very fast and far better than winmx IMO.

Broadband and theft, the two go hand in hand nowadays.
