Default Anyone else having problems with Firefox 1.0.4 ?

I upgraded from 1.0.3 to 1.0.4 last night and Firefox wouldn't load afterwards! After hitting the shortcut, it just 'hangs'. The firefox.exe process does appear in Task Manager and the HDDs are doing a lot of work, but the browser doesn't load. The process appears to be locked, too, because End Process returns a failure message.

Removal/reinstallation doesn't solve the problem, but after removal of 1.0.4 I can reinstall and use 1.0.3 without problems. This is on WinXP SP2, although the 1.0.4 installed fine (u/g from 1.0.3) on a Win2k Pro box.

Anyone else having problems?

did you run the upgrade over the top of 1.0.3 or did you uninstall 1.0.3 first?

Using the software update "check now" on the options page, it tells me I need to get 1.0.3 ...?!?!?

Upgraded mine last night but for some reason now images aren't downloading. It's not the site or my connection coz everything works fine with Internet Exploder.

Time to remove and reinstall methinks
