Following a shutdown due to low battery on my laptop I am now experiencing a possible issue with a corrupt file. When powering up and restarting Windows the laptop now takes ages, up to 5 mins to reach the desktop. the laptop then works, albeit very slowly. The hard disk is continually trying to access something and the Microsoft launcher box appears on the middle of the screen evry couple of minutes and takes ages to cancel.
Does anybody have a suggested solution?
