When I open a new browser window, it opens up small, instead of full screen. How do I make new ones open up full screen?

To control the size of primary and secondary IE windows, start by closing all IE windows. Then launch IE, right-click on any link, and choose Open in New Window. Size the secondary window the way you want all such windows to be. Now close it by clicking on the X icon at the top-right corner while holding down the Shift key. Repeat this for the primary window that remains. You may have to repeat the process from time to time.

If you always want your home page to open in precisely the same size and position, you can add a little JavaScript to the home page URL. Select Internet Options from the Tools menu and edit the Address line in the Home Page panel so it looks something like this: javascript:resizeTo(1024,400); moveTo(0,0);document.location.href='http://www.yourpage.com'.

Replace www.yourpage.com with your own home page. You can also edit any Favorite in the same way. Right-click on the item in the Favorites menu and choose Properties. In the URL field, enter a command like the one above. When you click on OK,IE will tell you there's a problem and ask whether you want to proceed anyway. Click on Yes.

Holding the shift key down as you do a File|Close works as well.

You'll have to go into the registry to fix that I reckon. Lookup on MS knowledge base or google to find the right reg keys.

OR

You install Firefox yknow it makes sense.

Open a new window, click on the link, resize the second window, close the FIRST window, close the second window.
