Question Sony PSP Memorysticks

Just about to order a PSP console and am currently looking at Memorysticks now so that I can stick some films on it.Was originally considering the 512mb ones (circa £50) but am now probably gonna get the 1gb Sony (Original) Duo Pro which I've just found for just over £92 delivered...
Any of you guys who already own a PSP using a large memorystick yet?
If so,what size and which type?
I assume the Duo Pro is suitable for the PSP as there is also a "High Speed" Duo Pro available which I've seen for £129 delivered.Don't fancy spending that kind of money though as I'd say £100 is tops.I'm guessing the performance of the Duo Pro (Standard) is adequate for the PSP?

Cheers

Nick

I'm using a sandisk 512 duo pro. That works out at two films at average quality.

I thought the duo pro was the high speed version. The duo is normal speed. £92 is a good price for the 1GB ..... ???? where from ????

Is there a cheap card that will let me record - legally of course - TV programs, then put them on my memory stick? I'm having trouble finding anything large enough to fill a 32meg card.

I use a Hauppage WinTV PVR2 which is usb2,sits on my desk and can record directly in mpeg2 format.Quality is very good and a mate of mine did a lot of research on the web and found at the time this was the best unit available for what he wanted to do with it.I bought mine just before xmas as Maplins were selling them off because they claimed they were end of line. Not sure how true this is but basically I paid £79 for mine and the cheapest at the time was over a £100 plus delivery. The unit also has s-video and component inputs so you can link in other external devices. He linked a video player through his onto his PC and converted it to DVD using Nerovision and he said the quality was VERY good (And he has an eye for quality in that respect!!)

Good luck
