Default VideoSeven 19" TFT Monitor

Has anyone got one of these. Overclockers are doing these for £165 is this price right? it seems alot cheaper thatn the rest. not into gaming (thought 14ms refresh aint that bad) so just general use, webbrowsing etc etc. will the screen appear bigger than my current 19" CRT?

Opinions, comments please before i buy one

cheers

Yes it will be larger; itll be easier to look and and feel cooler on your eyes too. The viewable area on a 19" TFT display will be 19"; on a CRT the size description refers to the overall size of the tube, part of which is covered by the bezel.

The response time is wrong as it should be 14/7 or 21ms total.

cheap as a cheap thing from cheapsville, if its that much cheaper than *everything* else then there has to be a reason, i.e. corners have been cut (not physically of course ))

I've got one, paid £180 from ebuyer about a month ago. No dead pixels and it's a good picture.

I've not done much gaming with it though.

The screen is bigger than a 19" crt, a 19" tft has the equivalent viewing area of a 21"crt i'd think. You 19" crt will only have about 17.5" viewable area.

The video 7 stuff is surprisingly good. We sell stacks of the 15s and 17s to big corporates

The current video 7 17" monitor is superb and has a 14ms refresh (total). Easily as good as my Hitachi one. Only down side, no DVI
