cant configure norton

Question cant configure norton

Hi all
ive got xp+sp2 all upto date with norton 2003 updated. every time i open ie with norton firewall on i get apage cannot be displayed warning and i cant surf , when norton firewall is disabled i can get online no problem i thought i had configured nf to allow ie but it still dont work
what am i doing wrong as i dont like surfing without protection

Well i have had a MAJOR problem with my PC since installing Service Pack 2 for Windows XP Pro so i did a fresh install and just left it at Service Pack 1 problem has gone you could try that mate ??

well ive had norton working on a previous install with sp 2 so i know it s supposed to work!! ive done a search and been on symantec website but still no help any other ideas anyone

could it be that the security on Norton is set to high?
