Printer recommendations
Hello
My HP printer is on it's last legs (an all-in-one thing) and I would like to replace it with something similiar.
I have been looking around and wow there are a lot of printers that do everything these days!
Can anyone recommend one? It needs to have a scanner and copier. I am looking at the Epson Stylus Photo RX620 at the moment.
Thanks,
Steve.

Thanks for that, I have one holding open the door to my study as the doorstopper I wanted was slightly more expensive.

I've got an RX620, pretty impressed so far, but I haven't had it that long. Photo printing is superb on the glossy paper. Text on plain inkjet paper is perhaps not quite such good quality but perfectly passable for my needs.
Scanner works fine and having the built in transparency scanner (slides and 35mm negatives) is a bonus.
You can do quite a bit standalone as well (i.e. without turning on your PC), photocopying, scan to memory card, photo printing - stick in a memory card or plug in your camera and you can select individual photos to print or print a proof sheet, tick the photos you want to print, stick on the scanner, and away it goes.
No fax but who uses that outdated technology these days, that's what emails for.
